The version 1.2 improves dramatically data visualization in the latent factor space. You can investigate closely the distribution of data with help of the 2D and 3D viewers. Data clustering is easy.
On top of that, the pop-up help for all tool buttons and sliders assists you at each step of data processing.
Also, original metadata of datasets from Gatan, Velox, Bruker et cet. can be accessed in the new version.
Spectrum Imager is for free download in two forms: (1) one is a portable package that can be started from any location in PC, (2) another is self-installing exe that follows the standard app installing routine of Windows (admin right are needed). The installation process is transparent and allows for clean uninstalling if required. In case you already have installed the previous version, the package will be automatically updated by running the installer.
